* Due to a tabulation error discovered, investigated and verified on October 16-18, 2005 it was determined that one of the scores announced at the festival was incorrect and this error affected the award placements of two schools. To make the best of this unfortunate situation and in a good-faith attempt to be fair to the bands involved I declared them both as "Co-Sweepstakes Winners" on October 18th.

After discussing the situation on October 19th the students of Mead High School decided overwhelmingly that the right thing to do was to accept the First Place AAA-L trophy.

Therefore I am declaring that Kamiak High School is the Sweepstakes Winner of the 2005 Harvest Marching Band Festival as determined by adjudication.

We express our congratulations to the students, staff and parents of these two outstanding programs for their integrity and professionalism throughout this entire situation.
